Horse is indispensable animal for festivals in Kyoto.

You can find even horse written oracle which sales oracle and cute horse small wooden statue.
The most famous Aoi festival and Jidai festival appears many horses. They are trained in the north area horse riding club so we can enjoy festivals at ease.
