Gagaku plays in imperial court with dance and music which is really unique rhythm and melody. Originally that custom introduced from the continent.

It can classify into two part dance with instrumental music and song with background music. It uses traditional flute, koto, wind instrument, stringed instrument, and percussion instrument. The music plays for imperial court ceremony, temple and shrine’s event and imperial court party.

However, those special uniform and instrument does not have so much demand. It causes serious problem of craftsman who made and players. There are only several craftsmen in Japan in this moment.
