Generally, if I compare employees work for a Japanese company and foreign capital company in Japan, an employee of a foreign capital company earns more.

Their system of salary measurement is simple. Who works more efficiently earns more. And who are not earning less. It is really simple and clear. It is easier to control motivation, too.

In a Japanese company employee is simple, too. Younger get less and older get more. The earning amount is guaranteed if the company’s sales don’t change tremendously. So it is easy to make a life plan because a employee know 50 years old will earn how much based on the reality.

Both of system has advantage and disadvantage so it is depends on which fit more to the person.
