Japanese believe the most famous Japanese food in other countries is Sushi. However, perhaps, there is a one which is more famous.

It is Teppanyaki.

Garlic rice is the good last dish to finish. And before to reach there, we can enjoy chef’s performance, cook and services every time which is different in each restaurant.

Originally, Teppanyaki started in Kobe Stake restaurant “MISONO” where were visited by GHQ’s brass hats. Then the style was introduced by BENIHANA group and it was introduced to Hawaii then to New York. Actually, there is a Teppanyaki in almost every major city.

To tell the truth, many of Japanese have never tried Teppanyaki in a restaurant. Why? Because people feel Teppanyaki is kind of internationalized Japanese style stake house with show. The Majority of them prefer to eat in calm. Personally, I think Teppannyaki is one of the few things which taste better in out of Japan.
