Japanese Fermented Alcoholic Drink

With rice, malted rice (by yeast) and water makes Sake. It is fermented drink as same as wine. Kyoto is famous of Sake, especially in Fushimi area.

Actual Fushimi is little far from the center of Kyoto but there was period which had function as center of the city. The area is surrounded by three rivers and nature. The area rejoices in good water so alcoholic drink which needs good water will be making in there naturally such as Sake, beer, whisky, etc.

The most famous “Gekkeikan” and “Shochikubai” brands have a plant in there, too.

People who know about this goes to Fushimi even little far goes there to try and experience true original Sake. Do not only visiting temples. Please visit Fushimi to try.
