“Kyoto Hanatouro” is a creative project aiming to decorate the beauty of a Kyoto evening in each of the four seasons with the theme of “light”.

Kyoto is a beautiful town with 2000 years of history and culture, nature and modern culture. The project attempts to light up well-known temples and shrines, tourist sites and streets in such areas as Higashiyama or Arashiyama, and turn them into the tourist destinations.

This project doesn’t only light up some locations in the evenings, but it also offers events and performances specific to some sites.
