Statue of Buddha is expressing the form of Buddha as the symbol of Buddhism. In many cases, a large temple of Kyoto has the statue. There are more than 500 national treasure Buddha statue.

Where owns more statue is Byodoin Hoodo of Uji city, there are 52 national treasure Buddha statues.

Unfortunately, lot of statues were burned out during Onin no Ran war.

Buddha statue has variations such as kindly face “Shakanyorai” or “Mirokubosatsu” and anger facing “Myoo”.

The form, clothes, expression has variety depends on but there are saving heart throught its eye and it heal our minds.
