Yatsuhashi is representative sweet gift of Kyoto and it is really measure by tourists.

The material is rice powder and sugar. And then bake it as “Yatsuhashi” or steam as ”Nama Yatsuhashi”.

Yatsuhashi has some manufactures and they are competing each other.

Actually, there are product could enjoy seasonal taste or Chocolate flavored, Strawberry flavored, Maccha (Green tea) flavored, etc.

Personally, I like steamed Yatsuhashi which has soft springy texture with cinnamon aroma makes me hungly. It is easy to finish off about 10 pieces by myself.

As Yatsuhashi is famous gift of Kyoto in Japan. And it is not expensive, so many of Japanese tourists buy.
